Please Welcome the New Interface of iGrow, the App for Guiding Healthy Generations! The Sabri Ülker Foundation works to raise public awareness of healthy lifestyle and nutritional habits in the context of proven scientific knowledge. It now presents iGrow, an app parents can use as a helpful guide, with an updated interface. Thanks to these revisions and newly added features, the application is now even richer in content. It is free and available to everyone.
The mobile app iGrow was developed by The Netherlands Organization for Applied Scientific Research (TNO), and the Sabri Ülker Foundation has translated it into Turkish, as well as adapted and customized it for a local audience. With an updated interface, iGrow continues to contribute to the development of healthy generations. It acts as a guide for tracking a child's physical development, and now offers richer content after the renewal of its interface and the addition of new features.
Both your child's immunization schedule and lunch can be recorded!iGrow provides parents with brief recommendations for the child’s physical activity and nutrition under the “Tip of the Day” heading.
Newly added sections include “Agenda” and “Immunizations.” Under the first heading, you can record the first steps of your child, his or her special days, and much more. The second provides immunization dates, and by marking the treatments received, you can easily keep track of your child's immunization schedule.
Other features added with the latest update include best-loved and most popular lullabies for children. Under “Menu Recommendations” are special recipes and healthy menu options for children aged 12 to 48 months.
Raising healthy generations with the iGrow app!The Sabri Ülker Food Research Foundation has adapted all iGrow content to the Turkish language and eating habits. It aims to raise parental awareness using accurate and scientific information, and allow the monitoring of a child's development from infancy through to childhood and adolescence.
Being overweight, a sedentary lifestyle, and obesity are considered the era's biggest childhood health problems, and are on the global agenda. It is believed that these problems encountered early on alter the quality of life at a later age, and play a crucial role in the onset of cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and certain types of cancer. Thus, it is vital to keep the course of child development under control and provide proper guidance and advice to parents.
The easy-to-use application allows parents to track the development of their child against reference data provided by the World Health Organization (WHO) when they enter age, height, and weight information for children aged 0-18 years. The iGrow application also features information and advice on nutrition, physical activity, and sleeping habits.
You can download iGrow on your smart phones from Google Play and the App Store. It is free and available to everyone. iGrow can provide analyses of development in infancy and childhood, as well as information on the progress of young people. Download iGrow application easily and for free:
